The KTF sponsors two main events each year

The Annual Turf and Ornamentals Field Day is usually held on the first Thursday in August, and the Annual Turf and Landscape Conference in Manhattan, KS, is usually held in late November/early December.

We have an outstanding educational program lined up featuring nationally known speakers, along with our turf faculty and graduate students. Vendors will be on hand with their latest products. Pesticide credits will be available, along with GCSAA and ISA education credits.

Turf and Ornamentals Field Day

The Turf and Ornamentals Day is an excellent way to come see the turfgrass research that the Faculty of K-State are performing. Not only can you see the research first-hand, but you can also visit with the researchers to learn more details about their projects and get your questions answered.

Moreover, many turfgrass industry equipment and supply vendors are on hand in their booths at the Field Day Area. You can visit with them and see the latest in equipment and supplies.
